Last month, scientists in the UK announced the creation of a three-parent embryo with eggs donated by two women and sperm by one man. It is another in a stream of new technologies that promise cures for disease, but also move us further along the road to changing our human nature. It is another in the stream of technologies that demand our urgent attention as mothers.
